Drachma by Agora Studio is a personal finance app for iPhone and Android. Track expenses, budgets, net worth and money owed, check your records against real account balances, and keep your finances synced across devices. No bank login. No ads.
The app started as a spreadsheet I actually used.
I tracked my own income and spending in spreadsheets for eight years. It worked: I could see each month, separate normal spending from one-offs, set targets, track account balances, and check whether the numbers reconciled.
What stopped working was maintaining the spreadsheet itself. Every new idea meant another formula, another sheet, and another thing that could quietly break.
It also was not portable enough for the way I actually lived. The workbook was painful to use on a phone, so proper updates usually meant sitting down at a desk. On holiday I would keep expenses in my head or somewhere temporary, then catch everything up after I got home. I wanted the same system in a screen I could comfortably read and update wherever I was.

Accounts, sync and using Drachma
Does Drachma require an account?
Yes. A Drachma account keeps your financial records linked to you. You need an internet connection to set up the app and sign in.
Does my financial data sync across devices?
Yes. Drachma stores your financial records in your account in the cloud. Sign in with the same account on your devices to access them. Sync requires an internet connection.
What can I do without an internet connection?
The current release, Drachma 1.3.1, requires an internet connection. Offline access and offline transaction entry are not available in this release. Your financial records are stored in your account and synced across devices.
Does Drachma connect to my bank?
No bank connection or bank login is required. Enter transactions manually or import a statement file. Statement files are read on your device; the transactions you choose to save are stored in your Drachma account.
